Space and team roles
Formations describe starting shapes, while players move between roles throughout a match. Possession alone does not explain the quality of opportunities created.
Match structure
A standard adult match has two 45-minute halves plus time added by the referee. Competition rules determine whether tied matches can include extra time or penalties.
Reading a match report
Look at the competition, team context and timing of key events. Statistics are descriptions, not guaranteed predictions. This site provides no live match data or betting markets.
